Posted by on 27 May 2016 in News | Comments Off on Homeward Bound – May 2016

We at Highway Melodies are praising and thanking God for His provision and protection over the last several months!

  • We moved to a new office in February and if you would like to check it out, please call us for the address and directions. Our phone number, email address and mailing address are the same!
  • We attended 2 new conferences (NATSO in Orlando, Florida & MATS in Louisville, Kentucky) as well as the Church Ministries Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan. These conferences provided our ministry with several new contacts, 10 new truck stops and distributors and ena-bled us to hand out approximately 4 cases of Bibles (176) to truck drivers and their families!
  • Our 3rd Annual Bible Drive has provided us with over 2,300 New Testament Bibles to place in our nation’s truck stops!
  • Our 1st Annual Flower Sale has provided us with financial blessings of over $1,700 for us to continue our ministry.

We can not even begin to thank God enough for how He has answered our prayers from our prior newsletter prayer lists!

It is so exciting to see God work in and through all of you as you partner with us in ministering to our nation’s truck drivers!

Happy New Year 2016

Posted by on 31 Jan 2016 in News | Comments Off on Happy New Year 2016

We at Highway Melodies are reflecting on the goodness and faithfulness of God over the 2015 year and look forward to what He has planned for us in 2016!

We are pleased to report we have 2 new board members, Julianne Dusendang and Robert (Bob) Tilburt. Julianne is the grand-daughter of Raleigh and May Huls and she is excited to serve on the board in honor of her grand-parents. Bob is a retired pastor and is excited to serve by directing a group of pastors who are writing a trucker-specific life application booklet to go along with our Trucker New Testaments that we place in truck-stops.

We also welcomed 11 new Bible Distributors and 3 new truck-stops for Bible distribution last year.

We are scheduled to attend 2 major conferences that will open doors for us to further the ministry—the National Association of Truck Stop Owners (NATSO) in February & the Mid America Trucking Show (MATS) in March of 2016.

2015 Annual Banquet—Telling God’s Story!

Posted by on 22 Oct 2015 in News | Comments Off on 2015 Annual Banquet—Telling God’s Story!

Our annual banquet was held on Thursday, September 17 at Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. What a wonderful time of telling God’s Story through worship and testimonies!

We were blessed to have the women’s soccer team from Grace Bible College serve us for the third year in a row as their service project. Their willingness to do this with such a positive servants heart is truly wonderful! We are so grateful for these ladies!

We were blessed by Forrest Wakeman who led us in praise and worship through out the evening and who also shared his salvation story. We also heard stories from Julianne Dusendang, our newest board member, who has a special place in her heart for the ministry because of her grandmother, May Huls and from Roger Redlien, who traveled out west with his wife and asked to distribute Bibles for us along the way! It is amazing to hear how God’s story is worked out in other people’s lives!
